Modular design and simulation analysis of truss robot based on spatial bars structure

Abstract For industrial applications, truss robots can perform mutipleoperations, such as transporting objects and handling tools independently, but face the challenges of inconvenient disassembly non-recyclability. Therefore, a robot load-bearing module based on spatial bar structure is designed, which consists bars connectors. Ansys Workbench used for static analysis beam. The results show that maximum stress beam 32.46 MPa deformation 1.1 mm under load 12,000 N. significantly small than yield limit material small, meets requirements structural strength stability robot. Based mode robot, inherent vibration frequency are extracted, providing reference basis control modular has mutiple advantages, including large span, high capacity assembly flexibility.
